UPDATE 8/11/18 Tesla Service in Rocklin California are rockstars. Without even an appointment due to the schedule fully blocked they still made time yesterday to calibrate the Autopilot cameras for over an hour. That did the trick. Enhanced Autopilot is now working. Full review of my experience vs the original HW1 Autopilot coming next week. UPDATE 8/10/18: I have a service appointment tomorrow and it … Continue reading Tesla Autopilot Trial Didn’t Work – Screenshots
The email went out this evening to all of us owners that have not yet purchased the Tesla Autopilot feature. Check back soon for a write up on how it performed. Here is the exact … Continue reading Tesla Enhanced Autopilot Trial Now Available

It’s actually a very simple concept , but let’s break it down. Tesla will come to you with a full size spare tire. They will remove the wheel and tire that’s having the issue, and install the full size and … Continue reading Tesla Roadside Assistance Tire Swap

Stopped by the Truckee Safeway Supercharger a day after the biggest storm to hit Truckee in many years. Mounds of snow, a few stalls somewhat inaccessible, but not bad considering most of Truckee had no power less than 48 hours ago. As for my Model S 90D? All wheel drive, all season tires on 19″ wheels, heated seats, and an air suspension to rise over … Continue reading Truckee Supercharger Digout
And just like that, the section to add your credit card for future purchases has been removed from the My Tesla part of Tesla’s website. The section showed up about a week ago and replaced the activate AutoPilot section. A day or so ago a story broke that the HTML code showed a commented out section that revealed Tesla plans to charge by the kHz … Continue reading My Tesla website updated to remove supercharger credit card section

Camouflage 21″ rims, stealth window tint, rear window armor, combat ready roof rack, topped with a full camouflage body wrap, including an extra layer of vinyl rivits. Under the hood “so to speak” an air suspension raises the vehicle … Continue reading Tesla Model S meets Military Humvee
More and more Tesla owners means more and more cars at the Superchargers. The San Mateo Supercharger, a frequent stop of mine as I drive to the San Jose, is a popular spot with locals and commuters. I have never seen a full bay of Tesla’s except at peninsula locations such as Mountain View and San Mateo, a sign of Tesla’s success in Silicon Valley. … Continue reading Tesla Supercharger Wait
I’m a little over 60 days in on my refreshed Model S 90D and I’ve been noticing screenshots, even recent ones, of the Tesla speedometer, and it looks different than mine. As the image above shows, there is a circular speedometer out there that I haven’t for the life of me figured out how to toggle on. Finally, I found a great writeup over at … Continue reading What’s with the Tesla Circular Speedometer?
It is now being reported that US District Judge Charles Breyer, the judge overseeing the 3.0 liter diesel case, set the date of November 3rd for the next update. For the next update?? Really? How about for a conclusion? This scandal, and the settlement to resolve it continues to drag on at a snail’s pace. While the 2.0 liter diesel case has made the most progress, even those … Continue reading Waiting for the Audi 3.0 TDI Settlement – November?!?
